Join us this Sunday for an afternoon of relaxed, welcoming jazz-making at American Legion Post #21 (7 Perley Street, Concord). Whether you play, sing, or simply enjoy listening, the First Sunday Jazz Jam is a great place to connect with fellow music lovers and enjoy live jazz in a supportive atmosphere.
If you can sing or play a melody from a Real Book, you're ready to join the fun—no improvisation experience is required. Musicians and vocalists of all ages and experience levels are welcome.
We'll have available:
- Keyboard
- Drum kit
- Bass amplifier
- Microphones for vocalists
Please bring your own instrument, music stand, fake books or charts, and any personal gear you rely on. Guitarists are asked to bring a small amplifier to help keep the session running smoothly.
While the Legion is a private club, our jam session is open to everyone—just ring the doorbell when you arrive, and someone will sign you in.
The Legion generously provides the space at no charge, and we encourage everyone to support them by purchasing a beverage from the bar. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available. Complimentary popcorn will be provided, and you're welcome to bring your own lunch.
