Capital Region Teachers Can Apply For Chamber Grants
The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce has $5,000 in grants available to teachers with innovative programs for their schools.

CONCORD, NH — The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce has $5,000 available in grants to teachers who might have an innovative idea that they would like to develop for their classrooms. A maximum amount of $1,000 is available to teachers in the capital region via the chamber’s Business Grants for Teachers program. Applicants can include projects that fit a specific educational need, that isn’t already included in a district’s annual budget, and offers a unique opportunity to the school, according to Sean Skabo, the chairman of the chamber’s Business and Education Task Force.
Funds from the chamber’s annual golf tournament – which is scheduled for Aug. 7, 2019, at the Beaver Meadow Golf Course in Concord – help pay for the grants.
The deadline for submission is May 31, 2019.
