Here are the top stories on Concord NH Patch.

As always, it was a busy week in Concord this week, with a lot going on. The top stories of the week focused on the lives of some of Concord’s homeless population, as well as crime, and breaking news. The death of a local libertarian activist and politician, and a quick turnaround of an alleged burglary and assault case on North State Street were also popular reads.

Here are the top stories of the week, from May 10, to May 16.

  • The top story of the week was a collection of photos submitted by Brian Blackden of an early morning car accident at the intersection of Pleasant and North State streets.
  • A story about homeless campers being removed from the railroad tracks along Storrs Street was second for the week.
  • A breaking news story about three people arrested in connection with a rash of burglaries in the South End was third for the week. Subscribers to our breaking news email alert system were some of the first people to find out about these arrests.
  • A video and photo gallery of the homeless camping area near The Friendly Kitchen was the fourth most read post of the week and an exclusive to Patch.
  • A report about two people allegedly smoking pot at the Everett Arena, another Patch exclusive, rounded out the top 5.
