Car Crashing Into Parked Vehicle Sends 2 To Concord Hospital

The driver of a car crashed into a parked pickup truck on Rumford Street near School Street; 2 people were sent to the hospital.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating a crash that sent two people to the hospital on Thursday.

Around 2:45 p.m., fire and rescue teams, as well as police, were sent to a crash on Rumford Street near the street’s intersection with School Street. One vehicle, a Chevrolet Sonic, crashed into a parked pickup truck. The officer requested information about the owner of the vehicle as well as anyone connected to it due to difficulty communicating with the driver, who was not the vehicle’s owner, according to scanner chatter.

Dispatch said the driver had an active license.

Concord fire immediately requested a second ambulance while more officers were also sent to the scene.

An adult child of the driver as well as a younger child, were passengers in the vehicle. EMTs transported two people to the hospital.
