Car, Motorcycle Collide On North Main Street In Concord: Watch
A motorcyclist was taken to Concord Hospital with injuries after a crash at North Main and Franklin streets on Thursday.
CONCORD, NH — Concord fire and rescue teams as well as police were sent to an accident between a car and a motorcycle on North Main Street on Thursday.
Initially, capital region dispatch was told of a car striking a pedestrian in the area of North Main and Franklin streets around 4:30 p.m. Two minutes later, dispatch reported it was a car versus a motorcycle. Police dispatch said the rider of the motorcycle, a woman, was on the ground and the driver of the vehicle, another woman, attempted to assist her, according to witnesses.
A couple of minutes later, EMTs arrived and reported one person down in the street. Firefighters also clarified a motorcycle was involved in the crash.

“We’re on the scene,” a firefighter said. “We’ll be investigating.”
Police requested more units to handle traffic around the crash, which was on the northbound side of the street. Southbound traffic on North Main Street was rerouted onto Franklin Street. The car involved was a Honda Accord but the make of the motorcycle was unknown at post time.

EMTs took the motorcyclist to Concord Hospital a few minutes later.
Police reported the driver of the Honda had agreed to a voluntary blood draw and an officer met her at police headquarters later.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles.
