Car Reportedly Collides Underneath SUV During Crash At Route 106, I-393 In Concord

Video: No drivers were injured during a crash between a Toyota sedan and a Hyundai SUV on Thursday morning on Sheep Davis Road.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a crash at the intersection of Interstate 393 and Route 106 on Thursday morning — reportedly involving one vehicle on top of another.

Around 8:30 a.m., police dispatch began receiving calls about a collision involving a car and an SUV. The car, reports stated, was underneath the SUV after colliding with its side. Callers reported the crash was in the middle of the intersection.

Originally, the caller said she thought she was near Sam’s Club, a dispatcher said. Several officers were sent to the scene, and the first one confirmed the crash occurred at the I-393 interchange in the middle of the intersection. The officers moved traffic around the crash scene.

The crash was between a Toyota Corolla sedan and a Hyundai Tucson SUV.

Neither driver was injured during the crash, according to an officer.

Two wreckers were requested for the crash.

News 603 posted a video on Facebook of the tow truck pulling the car out from underneath the SUV.

EMTs evaluated the drivers, but they did not require or request transportation to the hospital, according to scanner chatter.

Firefighters cleared just before 9 a.m.
