Car Strikes Moose In Pembroke: Firefighters

Pembroke firefighters, Tri-Town ambulance were sent to Route 28 at Batchelder Road for a crash Tuesday involving a vehicle hitting a moose.

PEMBROKE, NH — Pembroke police and firefighters were sent to Route 28 on Tuesday for a report of a car crashing into a moose.

At just after 5 p.m., capital region dispatch began receiving calls about the crash. Firefighters arrived and confirmed the crash.

EMTs with Tri-Town examined the driver of the car.

Fire command suggested other firefighters approach from North Pembroke Road on the Epsom side of the highway since the other side of the road was closed.

A Pembroke utility team also arrived to assist later.
