CATCH Wins Annual TD Charitable Grant Competition

CATCH Neighborhood Housing Wins Annual TD Charitable Foundation Housing for Everyone Affordable Housing Grant Competition, Awarded $100,000

CATCH Neighborhood Housing was recently awarded a $100,000 affordable housing grant through the TD Charitable Foundation’s Housing for Everyone grant competition. The grant will be used to support the completion of the second phase of CATCH’s Bow Highlands affordable rental development.

The second phase of Bow Highlands will add another 16 apartments for working families in Bow, NH. These apartments join 20 that were built as the first phase of Bow Highlands, which opened in 2010.

“The continued support of the TD Charitable Foundation has been instrumental in CATCH’s successes over the 25 years of our history, and to be recognized with the Housing For Everyone grant is the highest compliment of the work we do,” said Rosemary M. Heard, President of CATCH.

“This grant award is a special recognition for CATCH and the incredible impact we have had in New Hampshire. We are all so grateful to the TD Charitable Foundation for the honor,” said Heard.

This year’s “Housing for Everyone” theme was Housing for the Future, which will encourage the creation or preservation of rental housing units for families with children.

The Housing for Everyone grant competition is one of the TD Charitable Foundation’s most widely known signature programs. The competition invites local non-profit organizations from Maine to Florida to submit proposals outlining their plans and initiatives to support and provide affordable housing initiatives in their communities. Twenty-five organizations throughout TD Bank’s footprint from Maine to Florida were awarded a $100,000 grant for a total grant donation of $2.5 million in 2014.
