Chichester Teen Seriously Injured During Truck Crash In Sullivan

NHSP: Ayslin Claudio failed to negotiate a curve on Route 9, crashed into a rock, and rolled Monday. She was medflighted to Concord Hospital

SULLIVAN, NH — New Hampshire State Police believe “speeding and reckless driving” were “primary factors” of a crash involving a Capital Region teen early Monday morning.

Around 4:30 a.m., state troopers were sent to a single-vehicle crash involving a 2023 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck on Route 9 near Valley Road in Sullivan. The driver, Ayslin Claudio, 19, of Chichester was extracted from the truck by fire and rescue teams and then medflighted to Concord Hospital, according to Tyler Dumont, a public information officer for the New Hampshire State Police, with severe but unknown injuries.

“(Claudio) was traveling westbound when (she) failed to negotiate a curve, and the Tacoma left the road,” he said. “The Tacoma then struck a large boulder and rolled multiple times.”
