Child Abduction Incident At Concord Walmart Ends Safely

Breaking: Police were sent to an incident this afternoon concerning a missing child. One man was arrested on restraining order charges.

CONCORD, NH — A full contingent of Concord Police officers were called to Walmart on Loudon Road this afternoon for a report of a kidnapped child that resolved peacefully, according to police. Officers were sent to the store at around noon for a report of child who had been kidnapped. They worked the scene and spoke to witnesses and quickly realized that the situation was a domestic incident with a possible restraining order violation, according to Sean Ford, the commander of the criminal investigations for the Concord Police Department. Ford stated that police were able to find the missing girl and later, issued charges against a man on two restraining violation charges.

Police will a statement on Wednesday about the incident, Ford said.
