CONCORD, NH — A child who was one of three passengers in a hatchback involved in a head-on crash in Loudon on Friday night has died, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Just before 6:45 p.m., Loudon police, firefighters, and several other squads from around the capital region were sent to a crash on Route 106 just north of Staniels Road. When they arrived, they found two vehicles had crashed—a Toyota 4Runner driven by Stacey Sergeant, 52, and a Mazda 3 driven by Philip Sparacio, 36. According to Trooper Nicole Stone of state police Troop D, the SUV had one man who was a passenger while the hatchback had two children as passengers.

All five people were taken to Concord Hospital. The two children were suffering from life-threatening injuries, she said.
