Christ the King Parish to Present Plans for Rumford School Wednesday

Tuesday, Nov. 13

  • Architectural Design Review Committee at 8:30 a.m. in the second floor conference room of City Hall, 41 Green St.
  • Downtown Complete Streets Advisory Committee, 6:30 p.m. in the library auditorium, 45 Green St.
  • Concord City Council, nonpublic session, 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. This meeting is to discuss property acquisition, collective bargaining strategies and meeting with legal counsel.
  • Concord City Council, 7 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, 37 Green St. The council will hear a presentation from Unitil. The council will hold public hearings on the following items: Re-appropriation of $131,071 for wastewater treatment facility; $295,000 TIGER grant funds for design of Main Street redesign; request for the repeal or modification of existing ordinances prohibiting door-to-door solicitations.

Wednesday, Nov. 14

  • Concord School Board Communications Committee, 5 p.m., nonpublic session to discuss a personnel matter (grievance) in the district office.
  • Concord School Board Capital Facilities Committee, 6:30 p.m., at Rumford Elementary School, 40 Thorndike St. in the gym (Monroe Street entrance). Committee members will hear from Christ the King Parish which would like to purchase Rumford and move St. John Regional School there while redesigning the current parcel of St. John the Evangelist Church. Public input will be accepted during this hearing. A nonpublic meeting will follow the hearing to discuss the acquisition of property.

  • Fiscal Policy Advisory Committee, 4:30 p.m., in the second floor conference room of City Hall, 41 Green St.
  • Recreation and Parks Advisory Committee, 5:30 p.m., in the White Park Administration Building, White Park.
  • Transportation Policy Advisory Committee, 6 p.m., in the second floor conference room of City Hall, 41 Green St.
  • Downtown Complete Streets Advisory Committee, 7 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, 37 Green St.
