Citation Issue After Distracted Driving Crash In Concord: NHSP
A Sanbornton woman driving on I-93 North reportedly rear-ended another vehicle and was cited for following too closely.

CONCORD, NH — A local woman was charged yesterday afternoon after a two-vehicle collision on I-93 in Concord, according to New Hampshire State Police. At just before 1 p.m. on Feb. 10, 2018, state troopers were sent to the northbound side of the highway between Exit 12 and 13 for a report of a crash. The on-scene investigation revealed that Erica Doubleday, 20, of Sanbornton, was reportedly driving a 2015 Chevrolet Cruz when she allegedly “failed to observe slowing/stopping traffic and collided with the rear of a 2016 Subaru Forester,” according to a report.

The Forester was being driven by an elderly woman from New London.

“Both vehicles were heavily damaged and had to be towed from the scene,” the report on Facebook stated. “Doubleday claimed to have been distracted by her vehicle radio. She was cited for following too closely.”
Concord Fire and Rescue teams assisted at the scene.
