Dave Anderson will discuss how agricultural clearing affected the forest composition of the second and third-growth forests returning to post-agrarian New Hampshire, and also the transformation of the White Mountains and Central Lakes Region following the heavy logging of the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Naturalist-educator Dave Anderson is the Senior Director of Education for The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests (Forest Society). Anderson is responsible for design and delivery of statewide conservation and forestry education programs: field trips, hikes, tours, classes and public presentations.
