Starting March 6, the library will provide ISO certified solar eclipse glasses, in preparation for the April 8 eclipse. Glasses will be available on a first come, first served bases at the adult and children's circulation desks as well as at the Penacook Branch Library and Heights Branch Library. Only one pair of glasses will be provided per person and each person must present a Concord Public Library card or sign up for a card. Patrons may pick up for other family members, as long as that family member has a library card.
In addition, please join us on Tuesday, March 6, when Rik Yeames from the New Hampshire Astronomical Society discusses this year's eclipse. Space is limited, so please register for this program. Registration and more information can be found here.
