City of Concord Receives EPA Award

The Penacook Wastewater Treatment Plant is a 2015 recipient for the Regional EPA Wastewater Treatment Operation and Maintenance Award.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) New England Office selected the City of Concord’s Penacook, New Hampshire Wastewater Treatment Plant as a 2015 Regional EPA Wastewater Treatment Operation and Maintenance Award recipient. The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services nominated the Penacook Wastewater Treatment Plant to acknowledge the outstanding operations and maintenance at the facility. The Penacook Wastewater Treatment Plant was recognized at the Annual New England Water Environment Association Conference in Boston, MA. The Hall Street Wastewater Treatment Plant in Concord also received an EPA Wastewater Treatment Operation and Maintenance Award in 1992.
