City Of Concord: Trash Alert For Thursday Pick Up
The city of Concord is requesting Thursday pickup route residents to have their dump and recycling out by 7 a.m. on Feb. 6.

CONCORD, NH — The city of Concord has issued a trash alert for Thursday pickup customers.
Casella Waste Systems will deploy extra trucks to Concord to collect trash and recycling as quickly as possible to get ahead of the snowstorm.
Routes will be ahead of schedule and areas will be serviced earlier than normal.

The city requests residents ensure trash and recycling are curbside by 7 a.m. so as not to miss collection.
“(The) City of Concord policy always requires trash and recycling to be curbside by 7 a.m. on your trash day to ensure collection due to possible route changes,” the alert said. “However, we wanted to provide this notice since we know residents might be used to having their trash collected at certain times during the day.”

Attempting to complete trash collection early ahead of the snow is safer for the truck drivers but also helps remove obstacles for the city snow plows.
The city said they appreciated the cooperation and understanding.
