City Of Concord: Water Service Line Inventory Project

The City of Concord is in good standing and has already replaced lead pipes within the public water system.

(Patch Graphic)

The City of Concord is in good standing and has already replaced lead pipes within the public water system. As part of the new requirements of the Lead and Copper Rule, water systems in the U.S. are required to establish a public inventory of service line materials by mid-October 2024. Concord has been actively working with utility customers who have unknown materials of their private service line to perform inspections, update records, and encourage replacement of any found lead pipes or plumbing materials within their property.

It is our mission to provide Concord with drinking water that is of higher quality than all current state and federal water quality standards.
