
The City of Concord, NH is pleased to announce that it has entered into a 10 year agreement with Casella Waste Management of Massachusetts, Inc. (Casella) for the collection and disposal of the city’s municipal solid waste with the option of two five year extensions. After review of the submitted request for proposals to collect and dispose of the city’s solid waste, the city has determined that Casella’s bid was in the city’s best interest. Importantly, Concord citizens will enjoy the same level of service that they have experienced for many years.
This agreement provides for residential curbside collection of municipal solid waste and recycling, residential dumpster based collection of municipal solid waste and recycling, disposal tipping fees, municipal solid waste collection of the downtown solid waste district, wastewater treatment plant disposal, six weeks annually of curbside yard waste collection, operation of the transfer station on Old Turnpike Road, and pricing for roll-off containers, various sizes of dumpsters and 95 gallon rollout carts for municipal solid waste and recyclables.
