
- Hello sun! The sun makes a return today with highs in the low 60s. Overnight lows will be in the mid-30s.
- Climate change picnic. Bring your lunch down to the Statehouse plaza between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to connect with others involved in the environmental movement.
- Learn about hospice. The Birches at Concord will host a Hospice 101 class for beginners at 5:30 p.m. The free talk will be presented by Amy Pidhurney of Beacon Hospice.
- Local poets talk. Christopher Locke will read from his new book, “Waiting for Grace and Other Poems,” at 7 p.m. at Gibson’s Bookstore. Joining him will be Martha Carlson-Bradley.
- Other stuff. The Children’s Place and Parents’ Education Center hosts a babies and parents event at 9:30 a.m. Al-Anon and Alateen for relatives and friends meets at the First Congregational Church at noon. At 1 p.m., a parents group meets at the Concord Birth Center. Butter’s Fine Food and Wine holds a tasting at 4 p.m. Families Sharing Without Shame meets at 7 p.m. at Concord Hospital.
