Community Dinner on Sun. 10/18 to Support Local Homeless Families

St. Paul's to host benefit dinner and shower on Sun. 10/18 to support Family Promise

St. Paul’s Church invites the community to leave the dinner cooking to them on Sunday, October 18. From 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., St. Paul’s, located at 21 Centre St. in Concord, will host Families for Family Promise – a benefit dinner and shower to support area families experiencing homelessness. For just $5 per person, or $20 maximum per family, diners will enjoy a delectable meal of pasta with meat or vegetarian sauce, fresh garlic bread, crispy salad, and moist delicious brownies.

If community members are interested in bringing a shower gift, the following items are needed to support homeless families who will be hosted at St. Paul’s Church:

· New twin sheet sets

· Pillowcases

· Blankets

· Washcloths

· Hand towels

· Small two-drawer rolling plastic storage carts for nightstands

St. Paul’s is grateful to the community for their support as the Church prepares to welcome families in need through Family Promise.

Family Promise of Greater Concord New Hampshire is a nonprofit organization committed to helping low-income families achieve lasting independence. An Interfaith Hospitality Network of congregations and volunteers meet homeless families’ immediate needs for shelter, meals, and comprehensive support services in a non-sectarian program.
