Concord Arts Market Opens in June
Bicentennial Square market venue will continue this year through September.
CONCORD, NH - The market season starts June 4, 2016, with arts, crafts, fine art, factory alternatives, and creative place making, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The market season will continue weekly on Saturdays through the end of September this year, with a final market date of Sept. 24, 2016. The market venue, Bicentennial Square, is open free to the public, and wheelchair accessible. Parking is free on weekends and Concord Farmers’ Market is also open just two blocks away. We will be on Pleasant Street in Concord this year again for the annual “Market Days” celebration, June 23 to June 25.
Concord Arts Market features the work of local and regional artists and artisans. Jewelry, handbags, pottery, paintings, note cards, clothing, and more, cycle through the square each Saturday and give visitors a chance to meet the artist face-to-face, according to a press statement. Artistic demonstrations, and music are often in evidence as well, adding to the sense of place.
