Concord Board Of Education Election Signups Begin Sept. 6
School district clerk: City voters will go to the polls on Nov. 5, to choose district representatives for the school board.
CONCORD, NH — It's that time again: The filing period for Concord School District Board of Education candidates will open at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 6. Three members of the board, one for District A (Wards 1, 2, 3, 4), one from District B (Wards 5, 6, 7), and one for District C (Wards 8, 9, 10), are up for election. Signups for candidates will end at 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16.
The filing fee is $5.
Currently, Jim Richards is serving in District A, Nancy Kane is in District B, and Pam Wicks is in District C. Their terms end on Dec. 31.

Voters go to the polls from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, to elect school board members as well as the mayor and city councilors.
The district school board members will serve three years beginning on Jan. 1, 2020.

Individuals wishing to declare candidacy for the Board of Education should file within the filing period with Roger B. Phillips, Esq., clerk, at Phillips Law Office, PLLC, 104 Pleasant St. in Concord.
An informational session will be scheduled soon for new candidates interested in running.
