Concord, Bow Police Investigating Possible Hooksett Turnpike Shooting
Police and troopers are evacuating Hooksett Turnpike and Pepin Drive in Bow after a woman reported shots fired in her home Sunday night.
CONCORD, NH — Police are evacuating parts of northwest Bow just over the Concord line after a possible shooting on Sunday night.
Just before 8 p.m., Bow police reported a domestic incident, with shots fired, at a home on the Hooksett Turnpike near Cedar Lane. Police told Concord dispatch the victim, a woman, drove into the city and was in the Rite Aid parking lot on South Street. The woman reported she was shot at “but not hit.”
Bow police asked for her to be held there until they could come into the city and make sure she was OK. Several Concord officers went to the store to check on the woman and interview her.

Bow police, in a post on Facebook Monday morning, said the man involved “was found deceased in the residence, with what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”
Along with state police, sheriff deputies, and Concord and Dunbarton police, Henniker, Hopkinton, and Hooksett officers assisted as well as Bow fire and rescue teams. The Central New Hampshire Special Operations Unit was also called upon to help secure the residence, police said.
