Concord Police Investigating Possible Gun Threat Incident At Fort Eddy Plaza
Concord police were sent to the Fort Eddy Plaza Saturday to investigate a man claiming a "kid" flashed a gun at him while inside Five Guys.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating a possible gun threat incident at the Fort Eddy Plaza on Fort Eddy Road on Saturday.
Around 9:30 p.m., officers were sent to the Five Guys after dispatch received a second-hand report from 911 that a person was threatened with a gun. The reporting party, a woman, said a man had texted her, claiming someone was trying to kill him and requesting police assistance. A group of men were outside the restaurant, and one of them had a gun, the woman relayed to 911.
Officers went to the restaurant and initially did not see anything unusual. They spoke to the man and got descriptors of the suspects. One officer described the men as “kids.” Both left the scene in a white car. Officers checked an area on the Heights for the vehicle while police investigated the claim.

The one accused of flashing the gun, what looked like a black Glock, wore a dark jacket and jeans, according to scanner chatter. The other teen was wearing a sandy-colored flannel shirt. Police did not give ethnicity or race descriptors of the suspects over the air. One officer told others, after looking at surveillance video, one of the teens appeared to lift his shirt as if to flash a gun, but they could not confirm a gun was flashed.
Officers obtained other videos and reported a second car leaving the scene at about the same time as the incident. Two people were interviewed but were not involved and did not report seeing anything at Five Guys at the time they were there, police said.
