Concord Crimeline Alert: Tips Sought After Fatal Hopkinton Road Crash
Hopkinton Road has been reopened to traffic after about 9 hours of police investigating a fatal two-car crash on Monday near Loop Road.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police investigators are asking for witnesses to come forward after a fatal crash on Monday morning on Hopkinton Road.
Just before 7 a.m., police and fire and rescue teams were sent to the area of Loop Road for a crash report involving two cars. One driver was pronounced dead at the scene by Concord fire and rescue teams. Two other people were taken to the hospital, Sgt. Thomas Yerkes said in a Concord Regional Crimeline alert.

“The identity of the deceased subject is being withheld pending notification to family members,” he said.
According to scanner chatter, one of the vehicles may have been involved in an incident or investigation at Memorial Field on South Fruit Street minutes before the crash.

The road was closed for about nine hours but has been reopened to traffic.
The crash is still under investigation, and police are asking any witnesses or members of the public who might have information about the crash to contact Yerkes at 603-225-8600 or make an anonymous tip to the Concord Regional Crimeline at 603-226-3100.
