CONCORD, NH — Inspired by the colors of the Ukrainian flag, a Concord distillery has concocted a new drink to assist in raising money for relief efforts.

The Steadfast Spirits Distilling Company has created Trouble’s Blueberry-topped Lemonade Moonshine, a 54-proof unaged whiskey, with a lemon-based spirit, topped with liquor-soaked blueberries. The company is donating 20 percent of all sales — including on Trouble’s Limited-Edition Blueberry-topped Lemonade Moonshine, Traditional ‘Shine, Harvest ‘Shine, Peppermint ‘Shine, Peach Cobbler Moonshine, and Cherry Pie Moonshine to relief efforts. Also, 10 percent of every tasting flight purchase will also be donated to assist children who are affected by the war.

“Our hearts are shattering for the families of Ukraine, especially those with small children,” CJ Lundergan, owner of Steadfast Spirits, said. “As a father of two young children myself, I can’t begin to imagine the strife these families are experiencing. We are raising money to show support for some of the most vulnerable and affected populations. The children didn’t ask for any of this, so although we may not be raising a million dollars, we want to do what we can to make a difference.”

Along with the specialized flavor, Steadfast Spirits has also created its own version of the Kyiv Mule cocktail, revising the recipe of a Moscow Mule.

The distillery is open from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday at 134 Hall St., Unit H.
