Concord Family Displaced by Fire

Fire and rescue teams, police were sent to the Morning Star Apartments on Loudon Road yesterday.

CONCORD, NH - Concord Fire and Rescue teams were called to the Morning Star Apartment complex for a report of a building fire at around 5:20 p.m. on April 19, 2016.

When they arrived they found a kitchen fire in a residential condo unit with smoke coming from the eves. Concord Police were also sent to assist with traffic.

After about 15 minutes, firefighters determined that the fire had not extended.

One family – an adult and two children – were left homeless as a result of the fire. The Red Cross assisted the family last night.

“Over the next several days, Red Cross client casework volunteers will stay in contact with the family and provide referrals as they begin their road to recovery,” said Janet Vaughn in a statement.
