Concord Fire And Police Kept Busy With Crashes, Alarm Calls: Watch
On Friday, first responders were sent to crashes, a teen throwing hot coffee at a parent, and an unresponsive person at a hotel pool.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams had a busy lunch hour on Friday.
Within about an hour, first responders were sent to several calls. Firefighters and EMTs were sent to Irving on Sheep Davis Road due to an elevator problem as well as Smokey Bear Boulevard, for an alarm activation.
In Hooksett, fire and rescue teams dealt with a jackknifed tractor-trailer truck on Interstate 93 and I-293, and also requested backup.

Concord police were called to a crash on North Main Street near the Post restaurant.

On Smokey Bear Boulevard, a box was reset, and firefighters cleared.
The driver at the North Main Street crash refused treatment.
There was at least one other crash in the city when police and firefighters were being sent to other calls.
Firefighters and EMTs were also sent to a fall with a head injury at the state hospital grounds and an unresponsive person at the pool at the Holiday Inn on North Main Street. Police were also sent to the pool call. According to scanner chatter, staff at the hotel believed the man at the pool had previously been trespassed from the hotel. Dispatch could not confirm that, but he was trespassed afterward.
Police were also sent to Middlebury Street after a father accused his 17-year-old son of throwing hot coffee at him during an argument.
