Concord Firefighters Extinguish A Small Homeless Camp Fire Under I-393
Watch: Firefighters put out two small fires on Thursday under the bridge after receiving calls about a report of smoke from the public.
CONCORD, NH — Concord firefighters extinguished another homeless camp fire, underneath the Interstate 393 bridge, on Thursday.
The Capital Area Mutual Aid Fire Compact began receiving reports about smoke in the area of South Commercial Street and I-393 just before 8 p.m. After inspecting the area, they found a small fire underneath the I-393 bridge.
Tower 1 reported the fire was extinguished just past 8:15 p.m.

At 10:45 p.m., Concord firefighters were sent to another outside fire near the Friendly Kitchen, according to scanner chatter.
