Concord Firefighters Knock Down Pickup Truck Fire On I-93: Watch
Traffic was reportedly backed up for miles on Interstate 93 in Concord after a pickup truck fire at Exit 12 on Friday.
CONCORD, NH — Concord fire and rescue teams and New Hampshire State Police troopers were sent to the area of Exit 12 on Interstate 93 on Friday for a truck fire.
Teams were sent to the Exit 12 northbound offramp around 4:30 p.m. for a pickup truck fully engulfed in flames. The New Hampshire Department of Transportation sent a truck to block an exit offramp while firefighters put the truck fire out.
The pickup truck was hauling a riding lawnmower when it burst into flames.

A tow truck was called and arrived around 5:15 p.m. to remove the vehicle.
Commuters told Patch that traffic was backed up for miles. One commuter on the southbound side said traffic was backed up as far back as Exit 16.
