Concord Food Pantries, Agencies, And Churches Receive Donations

CONCORD, NH — The Capital Region Food Program continued to help those in need Tuesday by delivering more than 300 cases of nonperishable food to 18 organizations in the Concord area.

The organization said the monetary value of the food was around $8,500.

The donations were part of the org’s year-round distribution project to ensure that nonperishables like fruits and vegetables, peanut butter, pasta, cereal, and soups get to the partner agencies at no cost.

Receiving food this week were: B/M Concord CAP, the town of Boscawen, the Boscawen Congregational Church-Hilda’s Food Pantry, the Capitol City Food Pantry, the CAP Mobile Food Pantry, Christ the King Food Pantry, the CityHope Food Pantry @ CenterPoint Church, the Epsom Food Pantry, the Friends of Forgotten Children, the Loudon Food Pantry, the Merrimack Valley Day Care, the Pittsfield Youth Workshop, the Pittsfield Food Pantry, St Paul’s Church Food Pantry, Suncook CAP, the Undercover Food Pantry, Warner Connects NH, and the West Congregational Church Food Pantry.
