Concord General Services To Remove Snow In Penacook Overnight
Several streets in Penacook will be closed to on-street parking between 11:59 p.m. on Monday and 7 a.m. on Tuesday (Feb. 25).

CONCORD, NH — The city of Concord is requesting residents of the village of Penacook not to park on certain streets during the overnight hours, Monday through Tuesday, so snow can be removed.
There will be no on-street parking on several streets in Penacook from 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 24, to 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25. No parking signs are posted on many of the streets featured in the map.
“Crews are tentatively scheduled to begin work overnight into tomorrow to remove snow along Village Street between the Boscawen town line and Meter Street and sections of Canal, Washington, Merrimack, and the intersection of Summer streets,” according to the city. “Road closures and detours will be in effect. Please be on alert for road signs.”

Concord General Services crews “will do their best” to complete the areas marked in red, as time allows, an alert on Monday stated. The crews will remove snow, improve sightlines, push back snowbanks and road shoulders, and clear drainage systems.
“Crews will do their best to complete areas as time allows,” the alert stated. “Work will likely continue through the day tomorrow and as needed. Everyone’s cooperation and patience are always appreciated.”
