Concord High School Class Of 1983 Sets Reunion Date

CONCORD, NH — The Concord High School Class of 1983 has scheduled its 40th reunion, and things will be a bit different this year.

The class has booked its reunion for Sept. 30 to coincide with the school’s 2023 homecoming weekend with a day of events.

“It’s hard to believe that it has been 40 years since we roamed the halls at CHS,” Matt Finney, the class president, who is also an SAU 8 educator, said. “We’re really looking forward to seeing and chatting with such a wonderful group of friends!”

The reunion event will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Faraday Function Center, 48 Airport Road, in Concord. Tickets are $50. The event will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

Payments can be made via Venmo or by check to “CHS Class of ’83” and mailed to CHS Class of '83, 47 Hall St., Concord, NH, 03301. To access Venmo, enter “chs83rules@gmail.com” or search “CHS Eighty Three.” At the prompt, when asked for the phone number, select confirm.

Class members will also attend the homecoming parade and the football game at 1 p.m. at Memorial Field — look for the Class of 1983 tent. A tour of the school is also being organized. Former students can check out the new Wall of Fame installed this year.

Memorabilia has also been created for homecoming: Matt Stocking designed a logo for shirts, sweatshirts, and hats available at Esty.com for the class to wear before the parade and during the game. Note: The deadline to purchase merch is Sept. 15.
