CONCORD, NH — Members of the Concord High School National Honor Society chapter will be hosting a Thanksgiving-themed event at the school on Sunday.

Gobble Games hopes to kick off the holiday season for Concord families with some fun activities and refreshments. Matthew Desrochers, the vice president of the Concord National Honor Society, said the event will feature a cakewalk, donut on a string, gourd bowling, cornhole, and other activities. He said the society’s hope is to “bring joy to the people of Concord and surrounding communities” while also kicking off the holiday season.

“It is our first time running it,” he said. “(The) NHS wanted to give back to the community by hosting a fun event for the whole family.”
