Concord High Varsity Wrestlers Beat Bedford, 46-27: New Hampshire Results

Wrestlers from Souhegan, Bow, Milford, Nashua, Salem, and Windham all win this week; Exeter, Londonderry, and Manchester also competed.

BEDFORD, NH — Last year, the meet between the Bedford Bulldogs and Concord Crimson Tide was the battled of the undefeated, with both teams at 12 wins and no losses.

Bedford came away with a squeaker win, by 4 points.

This year? Concord turned it around with a strong win, 46 to 27,

Wrestlers winning for Concord included Jaxon Carter, Wayne Gutierrez Sakakeeny, Biswas Darji, Cullen Burke, and Griffin Norwalt by pins, and Max Chung and Anthony Gualtieri by decision. Isaiah Puckett won by major decision. Concord also won one forfeit and lost one forfeit due to weight class.

Bedford winners were unavailable at post time due to results not being published on Track Wrestling. Patch has requested the results from the team and will update when we receive them.

The JV Crimson Tide wrestlers tied the Bulldogs, 3-3, in exhibition matches.

Bedford also celebrated its seniors on Wednesday, highlighting 10 wrestlers who are graduating this year.

Crimson Tide varsity wrestlers are now 16-1.

The following matches were held on Wednesday.

Salem beat Timberland, 49-19.

Winning for the Blue Devils were Dominic Murphy, Brody McDonald, Spencer Buscema, Evan Lynch, Talen Walton, Caleb O’Rourke, Cameron Monahan, Jonathan Belkus, Tyler Pavidis, and Maddox Boudreau.

Nashua North beat Manchester Central, 69-6.

Gavin Page, Hayden Durocher, Trevor Rivard, and Ruben DeJesus all won for North while Alan De Leon won in the 157 for Manchester Central. The Titans also won nine matches by forfeit.

Keene beat Nashua South, 64-15.

Robert Perez won in the 150, Nicholas Samos won in the 165, and Landon Levesque in the 215 all won for South.

Windham beat Londonderry, 42-34.

Lancers Dakota Shaffer, Caleb Holden, Finn Millis, and David Pento all won in varsity matches while Jaguars Zoe Millette, Evan Ortolani, Slayde Watson, Liam McGrail, Christopher Guarnaccia, Tyler Tokanel, Dylan Suliveras, and Con Isaac all won. In exhibition matches, Conner Parson, Jake McClory, and Chase Pradio won for Londonderry while Rocco Ponzini and Isaiah Muriel won for Windham. Londonderry also won two bouts by forfeit.

Bow pulled off a squeaker against Souhegan, 41-40, with Bow being awarded two extra points for unsportsmanlike conduct by Amherst.

Winning for the Sabers were Kyle Sukcharoenphon, Benjamin Smily, Landon Carson, Logan Brown, Chase Knuckle, Christian Knuckles, and Sean Reardon. Jaron Todisco Coulon, Jared Dolder, Josiah Funches, Benjamin McDowell, Joseph McDowell, and Jackson Hall all won for Bow. Cole Mobley, Marcus Stout, and Alex Sarde all won for Souhegan in exhibition matches.

Souhegan, however was able to beat Campbell, 30-6.

Owen Kostecki, Logan Brown, Austin Silk, and Sean Reardon all won for Souhegan.

Ian Cottill won in the 126-weight category for Exeter. The team also won one match by forfeit.

Spartans that won matches included Colton Schuster, Evan O’Connell, Phillip Wright, Brendan Mazerall, and Elijah Wales. Austin Steinruck, Jack Kaler, James Alegeo, William Murphy, Matthew Goldstein, and Bishop Kearns all won for BG.

Milford also won three matches by forfeit.

Winnisquam Regional beat Mascenia, 18-10, while Pelham beat Newport, 66-4. Goffstown also beat Alviren, 67-16. John Stark Regional bested Kingswood Regional, 64-18.

On Tuesday, Hollis Brookline beat Merrimack, 54-9.

Grant Descheneaux won in the 138-weight category, Mitchell Krupp won in the 144, and Landon Shultz won for Merrimack in the 132-weight exhibition match. Hollis Brooklin won three matches by forfeit.

For the Purple Panthers, Robert Signor, Marlon Gomez, Benjamin Byrne, Robert Perez, Diego Dominguez, Landon Levesque, and Ian McCubrey all won. For the Titans, Trevor Riard, Steve Rosario, Ruben DeJesus, and Chris Vasquez all won. The Titans also won four matches by forfeit.
