Concord, Hopkinton Firefighters, Police Respond To Rollover: Watch
New Hampshire State Police troopers assist police in investigating a crash on Broad Cove Road; EMTs take the driver to Concord Hospital.
HOPKINTON, NH — Hopkinton and Concord EMTs and firefighters as well as Hopkinton, Concord, and New Hampshire State Police were sent to a rollover with entrapment on Broad Cove Road in Hopkinton on Wednesday.
Around 5 p.m., capital region dispatch received a report about a crash and requested Hopkinton EMTs to the scene. A second re-tone was issued also requesting firefighters, since EMTs in town were on another call.
Police dispatch in Concord heard the call and began trying to find out where exactly the accident was located and whether police in the city should assist. Later, a Concord officer was sent to block westbound traffic from the road.

At just before 5:30 p.m., Concord firefighters and EMTs were also sent to assist.
When Hopkinton firefighters arrived, they reported the driver was out of the Hyundai SUV and was examined by firefighters. Concord EMTs took the driver to Concord Hospital later.

The cause of the crash is unknown, but marks on the dirt road appear to show the SUV driving up onto an embankment, striking a utility pole, and flipping onto its side.
