Concord To Host Free Liberty and Legacy Civic Saturday Social On North Main Street
Interactive history, folk music, contests and tours are planned at the free June 20 event on North Main Street in Concord.

CONCORD, NH — Residents and visitors are invited to a free community event next month when the Liberty and Legacy Civic Saturday Social comes to North Main Street.
The event is scheduled from 1 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 266-276 N. Main St.
Organizers describe it as a chance to “celebrate history and community” with interactive demonstrations, historical tours, and 19th-century magic shows. Attendees were invited to “stroll down N. Main Street and be a part of history.”

The afternoon lineup includes interactive demos and displays from the Nulhegan Band of Abenaki, the Concord Coach, historic farm equipment and Made By Us: Civic Season “Slice of History.” Hands-on activities listed in the announcement include pottery, leather stamping, and toy spinners.
Shows and tours are also planned throughout the event. The schedule includes Andrew Pinard presenting Jonathan Harrington: 19th century Magician, RP Hale as Benjamin Franklin, appearances by Betsy Ross and Uncle Sam, Captain Frederick Bell’s Company 2nd NH Regiment Reenactors, the Concord Community Players, and FreeStyle Folk Music with singer and musician Mike Morris.

Visitors can also take tours of the Pierce Manse and Kimball Jenkins Estate. The event announcement lists the “Women’s Work, Woven Through Time & Place” exhibition at Kimball Jenkins Estate, “Tales from the Top Hat and Historic presentation by the Concord Historical Society,” and a Historic Toast at the Walker House sponsored by The Friendly Toast.
For families and other attendees looking for games and activities, the event is set to include a Parlor Quoits Tournament, described in the announcement as cornhole, along with a bicycle decorating contest, face painting, raffles, sidewalk chalk, and historic games on the lawn sponsored by Concordia Lutheran Church.
Food and beverages will also be available. The announcement lists food trucks New Hampshah’s Mini Donuts and Stacy’s Grille, along with Domino’s Pizza, popcorn, cookies, cotton candy, and Nice Ice Baby Sno Cones. Beverages under the tent are sponsored by NHD and Alan’s of Boscawen.
The event announcement says attendees should bring a chair. It also lists special sponsors including Capital City Subaru, Merrimack County Savings Bank, Milestone Construction, Sunbelt Rentals, Binnie Media, Starkey Live Productions and Domino’s Pizza.
