CONCORD, NH — The city of Concord has issued a Winter Maintenance Parking Ban for downtown areas (see attached map).

This ban is effective from 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12, and is in place for continued snow removal efforts. Residents and visitors are advised that no on-street parking will be permitted in downtown Concord overnight tonight. The parking ban will be enforced from midnight to 7 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 13. The city requests that all vehicles be moved off the street to assist plows in clearing snow.

Cars left on the street can hinder snow removal operations and block plows, particularly on narrower streets within the downtown area, officials said.

Violators of the parking ban face consequences, including receiving a ticket. Additionally, vehicles found on the street during the ban are subject to being towed by the Concord police. The city emphasizes the importance of cooperation to ensure efficient snow clearing.

To accommodate residents during the ban, free parking will be available in city garages.
