Concord Library Auditorium Renovation

Concord General Services' Public Properties Division renovated the library auditorium.

Concord General Services’ Public Properties Division has recently completed a renovation of Concord Public Library’s Auditorium.

Public Properties staff removed wallpaper and wood paneling, sheetrocked and skim coated the walls, and painted. All ceiling tiles were replaced and heating vents were painted. Trim board was installed on the ceiling to better secure joints and create the illusion of a tray ceiling. The long fluorescent ceiling lights were taken down and replaced with LED can lights. New switches, outlets, and speakers were installed, along with a new ceiling mounted projector and a motorized projector screen. The carpet was replaced and new cove base was installed around the room.

The room is now new and improved! The City of Concord invites the community to visit the library to see the renovation in person and to enjoy the new space.
