According to the report, at just before 2:15 a.m. this morning, an officer saw a vehicle parked next to a gas pump at Mr. Gas on West River Road with its engine running. The business was closed and the occupant appeared to be passed out behind the wheel. The officer also alleged that the vehicle’s engine was running, in the drive mode, with the man’s foot on the brake.

“It took (the officer) six minutes to wake up the male inside the vehicle,” according to the report, “(with the officer) able to shift the vehicle into park and remove the keys. While speaking to the male with the door open, the male acted as if he was driving away while the vehicle was turned off.”

Wills was issued a field sobriety test and allegedly “was unable to stand upright without assistance.” He was immediately arrested. At police headquarters, he allegedly blew a 0.22, almost three times the legal limit, and the charge was upgraded.
