“The caller reported seeing a male dressed in dark clothing getting out of a dark colored vehicle and appeared to be casing the area before watching the male walk to the rear of 160 Titus Ave and enter the home through the rear door,” Biron stated. “The caller reported that the resident was clearing snow and appeared to be unaware that the male had entered the residence.”

Officers spoke with the homeowner who stated that no one was supposed to be in the home and she was not aware that anyone was in the home. Officers searched the area, called in a K-9 unit to assist, and a man was reportedly found in the basement.

“The male initially refused to reveal himself, however after repeated warnings that a police K-9 would be deployed, he surrendered without incident,” Biron said.

The man was later identified as Hill and was arrested.

According to reports on Patch, Hill was arrested in Manchester for theft by unauthorized taking, falsifying physical evidence, and loitering/prowling, in November of last year after allegedly stealing a woman’s wallet inside a church. In November 2011, he was arrested for reckless operation in Concord after an incident on Margerie Street.
