Concord Man Arrested For DWI, Accused Of Being Passed Out Behind The Wheel
A witness and police accused Jeffrey Wiren of Concord of drunken driving at the North Spring and Pleasant streets intersection on Tuesday.
CONCORD, NH — A man from Concord is facing two charges after being accused of being passed out behind the wheel of his car at a city intersection on Tuesday.
Police were sent to the intersection of North Spring and Pleasant streets, across from the U.S. District Court, for a report of a Chevrolet Cruze in the middle of the street with a driver passed out. The witness told dispatch the car was stopped at the light through four light cycles. The witness went to see if the driver was OK and found he was passed out.
Just before 8:15 p.m., police arrived, ran the plate, and spoke with the driver, Jeffrey Wiren, 51, of Concord.

Later, he was arrested for driving while intoxicated and open container charges.
