Concord Man Arrested in Bow
Police allege that Jason Woody gave a false name after being stopped.

A Concord man is facing charges after being stopped on Route 3A in Bow.
Jason Woody, 20, of Concord, was arrested on Aug. 4, and charged with operating after suspension or revocation and disobeying an officer.
While patrolling Route 3A around 3:30 p.m., an officer reportedly saw a 2001 Saturn without an inspection sticker, according to a court document. The Bow officer initiated a traffic stop. The driver allegedly identified himself as “Jonathon Bernard.”

However, Bow dispatch reported that there was no information about Bernard on file. The officer went back to the car to check the spelling of the name and requested anything with his name on it. The driver allegedly stated that he had given the officer the correct spelling but he didn’t have anything with his name on it. He left his license at home, the driver allegedly said.
Another officer arrived at the scene and the officer asked the driver to get out of the car. The officer told the driver that the information wasn’t correct and he would be arrested until he could confirm his real identity. The driver allegedly told the officer his name was Jason Woody and that his license was suspended for DWI.

Woody was arrested and later, dispatch confirmed that Woody lost his license on May 21, 2009, for DWI, subsequent.
Woody was held on $10,000 cash bail and since he was on probation, his parole officer put a 72-hour hold on him. Woody was arraigned on Aug. 5.
Woody has been in and out of jail a number of times during the last two years, including an incident where he allegedly was caught urinating in public at the Statehouse.
