“The investigation into the crash continues, in order to determine the cause of the crash and if more charges will be filed,” Ford stated. “Police believe that speed may have been factor.”
Several witnesses stated online and to Patch directly that the Civic, reportedly driven by Leclair, allegedly was swerving and driving at a high rate of speed. The motorcyclist – who is currently listed in critical condition at Concord Hospital – reportedly attempted to move out of the way of the vehicle and collided into the bicyclists. The bicyclists sustained numerous non-life threatening injuries.
