Concord, Other Firefighters Battle Blaze On Hooksett Turnpike: Watch
Bow and Dunbarton tankers and other firefighters were on the Hooksett Turnpike to help Concord firefighters extinguish a house fire Sunday.
CONCORD, NH — Concord and the capital region firefighters spent part of their Sunday battling a house fire at 68 Hooksett Turnpike not far from the Bow town line.
Capital region dispatch received a call about the fire around 3 p.m. Concord firefighters were sent to the scene and quickly called for a working fire after seeing flames coming out of the roof and second floor of a two-and-a-half-story wood frame house.
Firefighters from Hooksett and Hopkinton EMTs were called first to assist. Later, Bow and Dunbarton tankers and Pembroke firefighters were sent to assist. Concord police were also at the scene.

Mutual aid included the Penacook Ambulance and firefighters from Boscawen, Hopkinton, Loudon, and Pembroke to cover stations in the capital city.
Fire prevention was also called to the house. After about an hour, firefighters began clearing mutual aid and other firefighters from outside of Concord.
