Concord Parks & Recreation Extends Season At Some Pools
Some pools will close Aug. 11, while others will remain open a week longer. The Splash Pad at White Park will be open until Aug. 27.

CONCORD, NH — Big news for those who want to stay cool for the rest of the month or haven’t had a chance to check out the new White Park Splash Pad.
The Concord Parks & Recreation Department announced Friday it was extending the pool season at three pools in the city. The pools at Rolfe Park on Community Drive, Rollins Park on Bow Street, and Keach Park on Newton Avenue will remain open until Aug. 18. Hours for the three pools will be 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Pools will close on Aug. 18 at 4 p.m.
The new Splash Pad at White Park will also be open until Aug. 27. Its hours run 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Pools at Merrill Park on Eastman Street and Kimball Park on North State Street will close at 4 p.m. on Aug. 11.
Pools are free to Concord residents. IDs are needed. Non-residents can access pools in Concord for $20 per family for a 48-hour past. A family pool pass for the rest of the season has been reduced to $65.
