Concord Pet of the Week: Onyx

This "spunky dude" is available for adoption at the Pope Memorial SPCA of Concord Merrimack County.

CONCORD, NH — Onyx is a young 4-year-old spunky dude, who is looking for a forever home of his own. Regal and super sweet, Onyx simply just wants to be by your side. He is sensitive and will continue to thrive with continued obedience classes and lots of positive reinforcement. His ideal home lacks small children and probably feline friends(due to his propensity to play and drive to have fun).

Don’t let him fool you though – as energetic he can be, he can match with couch potato status. Onyx has lived with female dogs, but does not require this. He enjoys taking long walks, laying out in the warmth of the sun and cuddling. Onyx is currently in a foster home enjoying their couch and picking up the kitchen crumbs but would be thrilled to meet you by appointment at the shelter. Call for more information.

For more information, please call the Pope Memorial SPCA at 603-856-8756, or visit the shelter, located at 94 Silk Farm Road in Concord. Information is also online at concordspca.org.
