Concord Pet of the Week: Rita

CONCORD, NH — This week’s Concord Pet of the Week is Rita!

Rita is an adorable, slightly stalky young girl, at only two years old, who is looking for her new forever home. She is a mixed breed and enjoys being known as a “Heinz 57” – yes, like the ketchup!

Coming from a tough start, Rita would do best in a home without constant visitors as it takes her a little bit of time to fully trust people. Once you’re in her circle of friends, she shows her snugly and playful side (and it really doesn’t take too long to get that friendship invite).

The SPCA believes she has lived with cats in the past so should be okay with a slow introduction. She probably would be best in a home without another dog – just from the trust point of view. Will you give this eager-to-please girl a shot? She sure hopes so!
