Concord Pet of the Week: Rufus
Five and half year old coonhound is available for adoption at the Pope Memorial SPCA.

CONCORD, NH - Rufus is a sweet guy that loves to seek attention from his human companions. He also loves to sniff around and find whatever he can! Rufus would love a home that would take him on casual strolls with his gentle leader and give him lots of love at home. Although he likes to be outdoors, he doesn't like to be alone in the yard. Due to his nose and his breed he will chase after any small creatures and would need a home without cats. Rufus enjoys the company of female dogs and wouldn't mind sharing his home with one, but he needs to be the only male. That being said, he does enjoy the occasional play date with male dogs. He does like to mount so he would need a tolerant doggie friend. Rufus does need an adopter willing to take him to obedience classes. Because he has been bounced around the past couple years, he sometimes doesn't like to share all his belongings. Please stop by the SPCA and meet this large goof today!
